This baton features an "BLACK HANDLE" BLACK non glare coated steel shaft which extends out to 29 inch. When close this baton has a length of 6.5 inch with that being the handle. The handle carries a strong rubber wrapping with diamond grips which wraps around the metal handle shaft.
